WIN Enterprises has announced its PL-01027, a scalable network appliance that provides a flexible platform for network security and other network-based applications. Powered by 400 MHz, 1.0 GHz, or 1.5 GHz VIA C7/Eden processor with VIA CN700 and VIA VT8237R chipset, desktop PL-01027 can be used in policy gateway, wireless security gateways, content filtering devices, network attached storage, and firewalls. RoHS-compliant unit measures 9.1 x 6 x 1.7 and has four 10/100 Mpbs PCI bus Ethernet with 2 ports bypass function.
