IPC hosts RoHS compliance workshop - implementing IPC-1752
“IPC will sponsor an intensive one-day course titled “Ensuring RoHS Compliance Through Materials Declaration Tools: Implementing IPC-1752″ in Northbrook, Ill. Course instructor Richard Kubin, chair of IPC’s Supplier Declaration Committee and vice president of E2open, will lead attendees through:
– IPC-1752, the free, industry-developed materials declaration standard
– Using the IPC-1752 materials declaration forms to gather necessary hazardous and restricted substance data from suppliers and demonstrate compliance to customers
– Importing and exporting data from company systems to the IPC-1752 materials declaration forms
